网传《Eversleeping》的创作来源于一个悲戚的故事：

公元1462年，君士坦丁堡受到土耳其人的进攻，德拉库拉伯爵受命征讨土耳其军。不料就在他获胜之时，谣言四起，盛传他已经被打败杀死。他的妻子伊丽莎白悲痛欲绝，终于投河自杀。班师回国的德拉库拉只看到了妻子的尸体，他愤怒地责问上帝，为什么他一生都为主而战，最终却遭到这种结局。他用长矛刺穿十字架上的耶稣，鲜血四流。他最终投靠了魔鬼，以鲜血作为生命，成为一个永生不死的吸血鬼的故事。

歌曲的MV则要直观很多。MV主要讲述了一个女钢琴家的丈夫，去世之后化作灵魂回来看望妻子，他像从前一样，倚在琴架边听记晚安爱人弹奏，冲着爱人微笑，并且在妻子熟睡时抚摸着她的头发，在她的额前落下一吻。

我想，她是能够感觉到他的，每一次按下的琴键，每一次清晨苏醒的梦境，每一次梦醒之后徒步到海边的追寻，都是跨越生死的重逢。
